Church Profile
Your Church Profile is the foundation of everything Midweek generates. Fill this out thoroughly once, and the AI will use it to make every email, post, and bulletin sound like your church.
Where to find it
In the sidebar under Settings, click Church Profile.
What you'll set up
Basics
- Church name — Used at the top of every email, bulletin, and post
- Address — Shown on bulletins and your public Link Page
- Phone & website — Optional contact info
- Service times — Appears on bulletins, link page, and in upcoming-events copy
Voice & character
- Denomination — Helps the AI use familiar language and references
- Church size — Tone shifts naturally between a 50-person plant and a 5,000-member multi-site
- Tone description — Free text. Examples: "Warm and casual, like talking to a friend over coffee" or "Reverent and traditional, formal language"
- Signature sign-off — How you typically close communications ("Grace and peace," "In Christ,", etc.)
Recurring details
- Recurring ministries — Small groups, kids program, worship team, etc. Helps Midweek reference them naturally without you having to retype each week.
- Social media URLs — Used to add follow-us links to generated content
Visual branding
- Social card fonts and colors — Background, text, and accent colors used when Social Cards are generated. Match these to your church brand.
Other settings (linked separately)
The Profile page also includes these — each has its own help article:
- Channel Selection — Which output channels to generate
- Email Integrations — Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.
- Weekly Reminders — When to be reminded to fill in next week's input
- Timezone — Your local time
Tips
- The tone description matters most. A vague tone gets vague writing. "Warm but not cheesy, conversational, occasional humor" produces much better output than "friendly."
- Update recurring ministries when something changes. If you discontinue a program, remove it — otherwise the AI may reference it.
- You can edit any time. Changes apply to the next week you generate (not retroactively to past weeks).
