Generating Content
Generating is the moment your weekly input turns into actual ready-to-send communications across every channel you have enabled. This article explains what happens and what to expect.
How to generate
- Open the weekly input you want to generate from (or finish creating a new one)
- Click Generate All Channels at the bottom of the form (or the top of the show page if it's already saved)
- Wait ~20–60 seconds while the AI writes each channel
- The page reloads with each channel's output in its own panel
What gets generated
Every channel you've enabled in Channel Selection. By default that's:
- Email Newsletter — full-length warm pastoral email
- Bulletin — printable insert (PDF)
- Facebook Post — community-oriented, ~150–250 words
- Instagram Caption — punchy, with hashtags
- Website Update — "This Week" page copy
- SMS Blast — under 160 characters
- Upcoming Events — short teaser for your Link Page
Disabled channels are skipped (and run faster).
What the AI uses
- Your Church Profile — name, tone, denomination, ministries, sign-off
- Your Voice Profile (if you've selected one)
- Your Style Sources (if uploaded)
- The current week's input (sermon, announcements, prayer requests, etc.)
The more complete those sources are, the more on-voice the output will be.
Re-generating
Made changes to your weekly input after generating? Click Generate All Channels again. This replaces the previous output for every channel — including any manual edits you made. If you've already polished a channel by hand, copy that text out before regenerating.
Tips
- Generate early, polish later. Don't wait until Saturday night. Run it on Tuesday and tweak through the week.
- First run sets the tone. If everything feels off-voice, fix the Church Profile tone description before regenerating, not the output itself.
