Social Cards
Social cards are branded images — typically your sermon title and church name on a colored background — designed to attach to Facebook and Instagram posts. Midweek generates them automatically using your church's brand colors and fonts.
How to create a social card
- On a generated week, find the Facebook Post or Instagram Caption panel
- Click Create Social Image
- A modal opens with a few design variants to choose from
- Click Download on the one you like — the image saves to your computer
Available designs
Midweek includes several layouts so your weekly posts don't all look identical:
- Clean Centered — minimal, sermon title centered, plenty of whitespace
- Bold Top — sermon title large at the top, church name below
- Sage Accent — accent stripe with title, modern editorial feel
- Dark Warm — inverse color scheme for variety
You can also flip between Facebook (1200×630) and Instagram (1080×1080) sizing in the modal.
Brand colors and fonts
Social cards pull colors and fonts from your Church Profile:
- Background color — main canvas
- Text color — sermon title and church name
- Accent color — stripes, lines, secondary text
- Font — heading typeface
To change the look across all your social cards, edit those settings in Church Profile, not the social card modal.
Tips
- Vary the design weekly. Same layout every week looks like a template. Mix it up.
- Test on mobile — most people see Facebook/Instagram on their phone. Check that the title is readable at thumbnail size.
- Keep titles under ~6 words in your sermon title field — long titles get cramped on the card.
