Getting Started with Midweek
Welcome to Midweek. This article walks you through your first 15 minutes — from signing in to publishing your first week's content.
Step 1: Complete onboarding
The first time you log in, you'll see a 3-step setup wizard that captures the essentials about your church (name, denomination, tone, social media). It takes about 3 minutes. See Onboarding for details on each step.
Step 2: Fill out your Church Profile
After onboarding, head to Church Profile in the sidebar and finish what the wizard didn't cover — service times, recurring ministries, signature sign-off, and visual branding. The more thorough you are here, the better everything Midweek generates will sound. See Church Profile.
Step 3: Create your first weekly input
Click New Week in the sidebar. Fill in this Sunday's sermon info, announcements, and any prayer requests or special notes. See Creating a Week.
If you have meeting notes already typed up somewhere, paste them into Smart Fill instead of filling fields manually.
Step 4: Generate your channels
Hit Generate All Channels. In about 30 seconds, Midweek produces an email, social posts, bulletin content, SMS blast, and more — all in your church's voice.
Step 5: Review, tweak, send
Each channel has its own panel where you can read, edit, copy, or download the output. Tweak anything that doesn't sound right, then copy or download to send out.
