Weekly Reminders
Midweek can email you a reminder each week to fill in your weekly input — so the work doesn't slip until Saturday night.
Where to find it
In the sidebar, click Church Profile. Scroll to the Reminders section.
How to set it up
- Check Send weekly reminder
- Pick the day of the week (e.g., Monday)
- Pick the time (e.g., 9:00 AM, in your church's Timezone)
- Enter the email address that should receive the reminder (typically the communications person — can be different from your account email)
- Save
What the reminder looks like
A short, friendly email reminding you that next Sunday is coming up and linking directly to New Week so you can start filling in. Optionally, if you've already started a draft, the reminder includes a link to continue it.
Recommended timing
- Monday 9 AM is the most common — fresh start of the week, plenty of time
- Tuesday 10 AM if Monday is your day off
- Friday afternoon if you're a procrastinator and want a final-deadline nudge
Avoid Sunday — too late.
Turning it off
Uncheck the box. Reminders stop immediately.
Tips
- Send to a shared inbox if multiple people might fill in the input — that way no one is the single point of failure.
- Pair with a calendar block — the email reminds you, but blocking 30 minutes on your calendar makes you actually do it.
