Voice Profiles
Voice Profiles let you create multiple distinct tones for different audiences — for example, "Main Service" for the whole congregation, "Youth Group" for teens, and "Donors" for stewardship communications. Pick a profile when generating, and the AI writes in that voice.
Where to find it
In the sidebar under Settings, click Voice Profiles.
How to create a profile
- Click New Voice Profile
- Give it a name (e.g., "Youth Group", "Donors", "Spanish Service")
- Write a tone description — same as the Church Profile tone field, but specific to this audience
- Optionally paste 1–3 example pieces of writing in that voice
- Save
How to use a profile
When creating or editing a weekly input, select the voice profile you want from the dropdown. Generated content for that week uses that profile's tone instead of your default Church Profile tone.
Examples
Youth Group voice
"Casual, energetic, never preachy. Talks like a college small-group leader, not a pulpit pastor. Inside jokes about pizza and lock-ins okay. Skip formal titles."
Donor / Stewardship voice
"Gracious and grateful. Clear about impact and outcomes. Uses concrete numbers when possible. Never guilt-trips, never under-asks. Sign off with the senior pastor's name."
Spanish Service voice
"Translated and culturally adapted, not direct translation. Use 'tú' not 'usted'. Reference shared cultural touchpoints. Slightly more formal than English version."
Tips
- Start with one extra voice profile beyond your default. Most churches don't need more than 2–3 distinct voices.
- Update profiles as you learn — if a generated youth post sounded too pastoral, edit the voice profile description so the next one is closer.
- Profiles override Church Profile tone, but use everything else (denomination, ministries, sign-off, etc.).
